Ping-Teng serves as the trusted advisor to his clients’ insurance business, whether on the valuation of the insurance liabilities, allocation of investment assets or the efficient management of capital. A Principal in Eckler’s Toronto Life Insurance practice, Ping joined the firm in 2019 after a decade of insurance sector experience at two major Canadian financial institutions.
He has an extensive background in life insurance valuation, financial modelling, asset-liability management and insurance regulatory capital. He also serves as the appointed actuary and the independent peer reviewer for several Canadian life insurance companies.
Ping is a Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) and the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
