A Senior Director and consulting actuary at Eckler’s pension practice in Vancouver, Murray has almost 20 years of experience advising pension plans in Canada and the UK.
Murray has expertise in long-term strategy, risk management, asset-liability modelling, liability driven investing, funding and benefit policies, demographic risk modelling and accounting for employee benefits. His focus is on making sure that these complicated issues can be turned into understandable and actionable advice.
Murray is a Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the United Kingdom.
