Experience
Tulio is a consulting actuary and Principal with over 20 years of consulting experience. Since joining Eckler in 2006, Tulio has provided advice to clients across various industries and jurisdictions. Tulio has vast experience in funding and financial reporting, pension plan design, de-risking strategies and longevity risk management.
Tulio has been involved in the actuarial profession, having served as a member of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries’ Education and Examination Committee, the Continuing Education Committee and the Climate Change and Sustainability Committee. Tulio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the Universidad de las Américas in Mexico and a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo. He is a Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries.
